Day two of SEC Media Days gets underway on Tuesday with the Auburn Tigers taking the podium first.
Quarterback Byrum Brown, defensive back Champ Anthony, and kicker Alex McPherson will join first-year head coach Alex Golesh at the Tampa Marriott on Tuesday, the first SEC Media Days held in the state of Florida. It will be a homecoming of sorts for Golesh, as he returns to Tampa after serving as head coach for the USF Bulls from 2023-25.
The hottest topics from the first day of SEC Media Days included the nine-game SEC schedule format, transparency in officiating, and the possibility of the SEC breaking away from the NCAA. Golesh may field questions about those topics, as well as some surrounding his return to the SEC after spending time with Josh Heupel at Tennessee.
Brown is viewed as one of the top quarterbacks in the SEC and is the first true dual-threat quarterback Auburn football has had in a few seasons.
