Where the Clippers would not relent, sources say, was the significant price point they had established for surrendering Ivica Zubac. Two first-round-picks-and-then-some was the bar that Clippers officials insisted would have to be hit to make a trade happen. Some in Clipperland, I'm told, even hoped that the Pacers would ultimately concede that they weren't able to reach that threshold, making it so they "had" to carry on with Big Zu.
