He is married to Gaurika Bishnoi, a professional golfer who currently plays on the Ladies European Tour and has been playing professionally since 2016.
Aaron Rai is a 31-year-old professional golfer who won the 2026 PGA Championship after previously not finishing better than 19th in a golf major.
Rai had won only once on the PGA Tour in 122 events, taking home the title at the 2024 PGA Wyndham Championship. Before his triumph at the PGA Championship, he had 14 top 10 finishes and nine top five finishes. He joined the PGA Tour in 2022.
Rai rallied in the final round of the PGA Championship, starting with an eagle on the ninth hole, which put him just 1 shot back. He then birdied holes 11, 13, 16 and 17 on the back nine to shoot a 5-under 65 in the fourth round, good enough for a 3-stroke win over Jon Rahm and Alex Smalley.
Rai entered the day 2 strokes behind Smalley on the leaderboard in a five-way tie for second with Rahm, Matti Schmid, Nick Taylor and Ludvig Aberg.
