The college baseball season has concluded as Oklahoma defeated North Carolina to win the program’s third national championship.

Florida baseball ended the season 41-21 with an 18-12 mark in SEC action. UF earned the No. 8 national seed, but fell short in the Gainesville Regional title game.

The Gators were recognized in the final poll for every major outlet.

In the USA Today Coaches Poll, the Gators were No. 19, which was two spots lower than the final poll before the postseason.

Ten teams in the SEC were ranked in the poll, while six finished in the top 10.

In the D1baseball.com rankings, Florida moved up two spots and closed the season at No. 16, while Baseball America dropped UF from No. 9 to No. 16.
