The hiatus is over for Ilia Topuria.

Officially, it’ll end at the White House on June 14 when he fights Justin Gaethje for the lightweight title in the main event at UFC Freedom 250.

Topuria, the 29-year-old with dual citizenship from Spain and Georgia, announced in November he was taking time off from the UFC and cited false allegations of domestic abuse. It turned out he was embroiled in a contentious divorce and custody battle that has been resolved, according to MMA Mania.

Now, after a layoff of almost a year, Topuria is back with a chance to reassert his dominance. He is 17-0 (9-0 UFC) and won his last three fights by knockout.

Topuria could be tested by Gaethje, the 37-year-old American who, in his last fight, prevailed in a brutal bout against Paddy Pimblett and won the interim lightweight title. Gaethje is 27-5 (10-5 UFC) and has won four of his last five fights
