UFC Freedom 250, will take place on the South Lawn of the White House to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States. Coinciding with President Donald Trump’s 80th birthday, the event will feature a massive octagon-shaped cage, with the White House as a backdrop.
The decorative arches will feature stars and stripes to honor the American flag, framing an octagonal wire-mesh ring in the middle. Spectator seating will encircle the cage, with thousands of temporary seats installed to accommodate the anticipated crowd.
The ring itself will be illuminated in vibrant red, white, and blue hues. For those unable to attend in person, large screens will broadcast the event live at The Ellipse, the 52-acre park nestled between the White House and the National Mall.
The fight card will be headlined by a lightweight title unification bout between the undefeated Ilia Topuria and Justin Gaethje. The co-main event will showcase a showdown as Alex Pereira faces Ciryl Gane for the interim UFC heavyweight title. Additionally, bantamweight sensation Sean O’Malley will square off against Aiemann Zahabi, adding to the seven-fight lineup.
