The sun is beginning to set on the 2026 Winter Olympics, the global event that invites athletes from all over the world to compete on a world stage for top honors in a variety of sports.
The two-week competition held its opening ceremony on Feb. 6 and now things are slowly coming to an end.
The 2026 Games will conclude with the closing ceremony on Feb. 22 which will begin at 8 p.m. CET (2 p.m. ET; 11 a.m. PT).
The closing ceremony will be held at the Verona Olympic Arena. The event acts as the grand finale of the Winter Games. It's an affair that brings unity amongst the athletes and the countries they represent. Together, the participants from all over the world create bonds through music, art and the love and spirit of sport.
The closing ceremony honors the winning athletes, as well as the totality of those who competed.
