With the World Cup officially wrapped up, it's almost time for football season.

The New York Jets are coming off of a brutal campaign in 2025, with the team posting a woeful 3-14 record, the worst mark by the Jets since the NFL added a 17th game ahead of the 2021 season.

The pressure is on for this Jets regime -- led by head coach Aaron Glenn and general manager Darren Mougey -- who very well could be on the hot seat if another disastrous season occurs at MetLife Stadium in 2026.

There's no denying that the Jets added an influx of talent during the 2026 NFL Draft, with four selections in the top-50 picks, led by edge rusher David Bailey at No. 2 overall and was followed by tight end Kenyon Sadiq at No. 16, wide receiver Omar Cooper Jr. at No. 30 and cornerback D'Angelo Ponds with the 50th pick.

There's only seven weeks until Gang Green opens the regular season on the road against former head coach Robert Saleh and the Tennessee Titans on Sept. 13.

With training camp getting started around the league in the coming days, here's important information you need to know about the Jets upcoming training camp schedule and more details:

When does Jets training camp 2026 start?

The first Jets players at the facility will be rookies, who are scheduled to report on Saturday, July 25.

They will be followed by the veterans, who will report to training camp on Tuesday, July 28.

The first training camp practice for the Jets will be the following day on Wednesday, July 29.

Where is Jets training camp held?

Despite ongoing renovations, the Jets will hold training camp at their Atlantic Health Jets Training Center in Florham Park, New Jersey.

When will Jets have training camp practices open to public?

The Jets will have seven training camp practicesopen to the public this summer, beginning Saturday, Aug. 1 at 8:30 a.m.

It should be noted that there will be limited attendance compared to years past due to current facility renovations.

A big difference this year is that the Jets will host two joint practices with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Tuesday, Aug. 11 and Wednesday Aug. 12 ahead of the two teams playing in Week 1 of the preseason on Friday, Aug. 14 at MetLife Stadium.

Here's the complete training camp schedule that will be viewable to the public:

  • Saturday, Aug. 1 at 8:30 a.m. (Back Together weekend)
  • Tuesday, Aug. 4 at 8:30 a.m.
  • Saturday, Aug. 8 at 8:30 a.m.
  • Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 10 a.m. (Joint practice with Buccaneers)
  • Wednesday, Aug. 12 at 10 a.m. (Joint practice with Buccaneers)
  • Tuesday, Aug. 18 at 8:30 a.m.
  • Tuesday, Aug. 25 at 12:45 p.m.

Are tickets still available for Jets training camp practices?

With an infusion of young, high draft capital talent on both sides of the ball from the NFL Draft this past spring, all seven Jets training camp practices open to the public have already been sold out.

Will there be a Jets, Giants joint practice this year?

With the Giants heading to West Virginia for training camp this year, there will be no joint Jets-Giants practice in training camp between the MetLife counterparts.

When are NFL roster cut dates?

The Jets and all 31 other NFL teams must have their rosters shortened from 90 to 53 players by Sunday, Aug. 30 at 6 p.m.
