The SEC Tournament will begin on Tuesday morning when Alabama faces Missouri in Hoover. The game kicks-off an action-packed day one featuring four games.

LSU baseball has a few days before the Tigers take the field. LSU earned the No. 3 seed and a double-bye. Jay Johnson's squad won't play until approximately 6:30 PM ET on Friday night in game eight of the tournament. The double-bye sends LSU right to the quarterfinals.

LSU doesn't know its exact opponent yet, but it will be Mississippi State, Texas A&M, or Auburn. LSU took a series from Mississippi State in March, but Texas A&M and Auburn got the best of LSU. The Tigers could have a chance for revenge in Hoover.

Given LSU's placement in the SEC standings and an RPI that ranks No. 8, LSU feels good about its chances of earning a top-eight national seed in the NCAA Tournament. But a win on Friday solidifies those hopes.

If LSU manages to make the semi-finals, LSU will likely meet Florida, Ole Miss, or Arkansas. LSU is yet to see Ole Miss or Florida this season.
