The Champions League quarterfinal lineup for 2025/26 was set this week.
Eight teams are left in the tournament after the Round of 16 second legs on Tuesday and Wednesday. The nature of the revamped competition means each side that progresses will know their opponents in advance, so preparations can begin swiftly.

When are the Champions League quarterfinals?
The quarterfinal ties are scheduled to be played over April 7-8 and April 14-15. The precise match dates will be confirmed once the Round of 16 has concluded.

Teams qualified for Champions League quarterfinals
The first team to qualify for the quarterfinals was Sporting CP. They produced a famous comeback, defeating Bodo/Glimt 5-0 in the second leg to claim a 5-3 aggregate victory.

Champions League knockout dates 2025/26
The knockout phase of this season's Champions League began in February and runs until the final at the end of May.

- Round of 16: March 10/11 and March 17/18
- Quarterfinals: April 7/8 and April 14/15
- Semifinals: April 28/29 and May 5/6
