The highest holy week of Georgia sports…not related to football, of course, is upon us.
No, it’s not laughing at Tennessee or Florida fans whose only path to contending for a national title is by pulling out old VHS tapes.
Nope, it’s the Tradition unlike any other – The Masters.
But one of the layers of the pageantry that will grace Augusta National this time of year is off the course in the annual Champions Dinner.
This year’s, served in honor of Rory McIlroy is highlighted by yellowfin tuna carpaccio.

And then there was last year’s version where at the request of Scottie Scheffler was basically…a Sunday night at Texas Roadhouse

Personally speaking, yours truly would have a menu of fried shrimp from O’Steen’s in St. Augustine as an appetizer, entrees being a pig sandwich from Fincher’s BBQ as well as some Chicken Parmesan with it all being finished off by an orange creamsicle cheesecake.
