What was...
From the get go, Keim and BA made some strange draft decisions but, the result on game day was acceptable and we got a winner in town. We had some had scratchers from the get go, the coaching staff that was way beyond old, the ST coach that hadn't a good resume and a HC that didn't want to fire his guys. And a GM that made some strange decisions on trading and mulling through the lower echelon of the rooster. His first round picks rarely were successful or made sense drafting Bucchanon in the first as a SS to be a $LB and than drafting another one Reddick some years later but that were accapted as bad acquisition like Adrian Peterson for a 3rd rounder that cost us another 3rd rounder and we maybe lost 2-3 spots in drafting order … just saying. Not having a QboF behind Carson Palmer, wasn't a good move either. But with an off-season with some other strange deals and moves we got into this season.
What is...
Now we are in the purgatory at least after two games, I would like to wait another 2 games to get to a real conclusion but from the look of this team, without changes at the top of it, we will not change. The Move from the 3-4 in where this team was in the top 15 the last 6 years to a 4-3 were we miss about half the personnel, now looks like a move of pure hatred. We can't stop anything and when we stop something it has to come from a play by one player. That means for now it came from, Meowa, Jones, PP21, Diche, Bynes or Baker, if anyone can remind someone else making a big play for a stop than add it here, because I can't remind one. But not only the D is now one of the worst of the league (from top 5 last two years) the offence can't even get a drive going. And that with DJ, Fitz, a well playing Kirk or a RSJ that gets open. And the problem isn't our O-line, they do quite well, 3 Sack on Bradford where he run in two of them … is not bad at all, by this rate we will allow less than 24 Sacks … that sounds like a great O-line and no the pressure isn't that high either. And the run game? Yes, against a stacked box, even the best O-line sometimes has no chance to get the holes opened. But with that said, we go to what will be.
What will be...
Yesterday we learned that this offence can't do squat. We learned that our OC is over his head and is the worst in the NFL for now. And today we learned that our HC is a “we know the system works” and a “we have to cut down the play-book” after seeing an abysmal soft, not innovative, passive , extremely basic play-book type of guy that is over his head at being HC not that his OC and DC wouldn't be in the same spot. The only coach that is better than what we had the last years is the ST coach but even him regressed after a game so we have to wait and see on him.
The future will not be funny... this year is a lost year, we hopefully get ride of this OC and DC and HC since neither seems to be adequate for the job he tries to do. We maybe should get an interim GM that has nothing to do with football, nothing to do with the team and that only looks to cut out the cancers that are growing in our team, the scouting department and the offices, that finds solutions to all the problems that we have and after he did that this year, watch if he did a good job at football as well or if you need a football GM. For me, Rosen shouldn't start under McCoy, maybe under an other OC. The holes that we have could be closed in 1-2 good off-season, but without doing something, we might be toast the years to come... from the cardiac cards to the ol'same cards... at the end it was a short Cardiac cards story …
