Other than Daniel Whelan's exceptional punting, there wasn't much that stood out about the Green Bay Packers' special teams corps in 2025. Perhaps a new voice will change that.
Packers head coach Matt LaFleur has hired former New England Patriots and New York Giants assistant Cam Achord to replace Rich Bisaccia as special-teams coordinator. Bisaccia, 65, decided to leave the team after four seasons. It appears he will take a similar position at Clemson.

Achord is the fourth different special teams coach during LaFleur's tenure, which is entering its eighth season. He will oversee a group that finished 23rd in kickoff-return average and 32nd in punt-return average last season. A blocked field goal and a blocked extra point also likely cost the Packers' two additional victories last season.
