The Wisconsin men's basketball team has five victories over teams that are ranked within the top 11 teams of the NET, but the NCAA Tournament committee didn't exactly do the Badgers any favors with their first-round opponent.
No. 5 UW will face No. 12 High Point at 12:50 p.m. March 19. The Panthers are 30-4 this season and have won 59 games over the past two seasons. This is the school's second-straight NCAA Tournament bid after winning the Big South Tournament in consecutive seasons.

The Panthers are one of six teams in Division 1 to win 30 games and are in the midst of a 14-game winning streak. However, 22 of High Point's victories are Quad 4 wins and the team did not play a Quad 1 opponent this season.
Southeast Missouri transfer Rob Martin is second on the team in scoring at 15.3 points per game. He was named the Big South newcomer of the year and averaged 19.3 points per game in the conference tournament.
