The World Cup is back after a rest day yesterday for all teams before the quarterfinals begin today.
The first match of the quarterfinals will be played at Boston Stadium (usually known as Gillette Stadium) at 4 p.m. ET. It's the only game scheduled to be played on July 9. There will be a game tomorrow at 3 p.m. ET and two games on Saturday at 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. to round out the quarterfinal.
Today's match, between France and Morocco, is the last game of the tournament at Boston Stadium. France, led by Kylian Mbappe, is favored to win the match. Mbappe has scored seven goals in the tournament before, putting him one behind Argentinian superstar Lionel Messi in the golden boot race.
The two teams last met on the World Cup stage in the semifinals of the 2022 Quatar games. France walked away with a 2-0 win then, and third place in the overall tournament.

Boston Stadium isn't actually located in Boston proper, but in in Foxborough, Massachusetts. It's over 20 miles outside of the city, and usually serves as the home of the New England Patriots football team.
The cheapest pair tickets you can get on StubHub for the July 9 quarter-finals World Cup game in Foxboro costs $1,179 per seat, down from $1,773 last week. There are only 2% of tickets left on StubHub.
