FOXBOROUGH — Massachusetts is ready for its World Cup finale.
Kylian Mbappé, Ousmane Dembélé and Achraf Hakimi are among the headlining stars for the send-off in the final of seven matches played in the state during the tournament.
The France and Morocco national teams will clash in the World Cup quarterfinals at Gillette Stadium on Thursday, July 9 at 4 p.m. on FOX.
Mbappé — who is in a heated race to win his second straight Golden Boot for most goals scored in the tournament — and Dembélé have combined to net 11 of France's 14 goals in five matches so far. Mbappé trails Argentina's Lionel Messi (8) in the hunt by one strike.
Hakimi, Morocco's standout right back, will be tasked with keeping the duo's scoring chances to a minimum as his squad is vying to become the first African nation to clinch a consecutive trip to the semifinals. The PSG star, 27, is the continent's all-time leader in World Cup match appearances (15).
