Reinier de Ridder and Bo Nickal will look to continue their upward paths toward UFC middleweight title contention. Their 185-pound fight scheduled for three rounds will take place Saturday, May 3 at UFC on ESPN 67 from Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa.

De Ridder, 34, a former ONE Championship double champ, is off to a 2-0 start in the UFC after scoring wins over Gerald Meerschaert and most recently Kevin Holland in January. Those results have him ranked No. 13 in the official UFC rankings.

Nickal, 29, a former Penn State wrestling national champion, is undefeated in his MMA career since June 2022. While he's coming off a victory over Paul Craig last November at UFC 309, Nickal was heavily criticized for his lack of activity in that bout and will be looking to make a statement against De Ridder.

When does the UFC Des Moines fight card start?​

The UFC Des Moines lineup consists of 12 fights. Prelims start at 7 p.m. ET, and the main card at 10 p.m. ET.

• As the co-main event, De Ridder and Nickal are expected to walk out to the cage at approximately midnight ET.
• The fight will air on ESPN and stream on ESPN+.
