Buffalo will see some of the most exciting first round action of the NCAA Tournament. Thursday night concludes with No. 8 Georgia vs. No. 9 St. Louis.
The matchup marks the Dawgs' second straight bid while it's the Billikens' first since 2019. For both squads, this regular season marked their best in school history. To say they want to keep it going is an understatement.
It'll be an offensive showdown in Buffalo. Georgia's offense ranks fifth in the nation while Saint Louis sits at 10th with 89.8 ppg and 87.2 ppg, respectively. For the Billikens, that comes from A-10 Player of the Year Robbie Avila. Jeremiah Wilkinson leads the way for the Dawgs, but their bench produces just as well.
While this matchup is a late start, it could be one of the most exciting of the first round.
