to me is that the Cards need to make even more strides in Free Agency. If there is a Cap Casualty June 1 that this team needs they have to overspend to get them. Unless they have no intention of competing this up coming season....which is possible. I think the team sees these guys as building blocks not impact guys. Frank Sanders was a building block guy...so is KVB. IF we are so many guys away from being a playoff team(most of us seem to not want to admit this fact) T Suggs would not have helped us get to the playoffs this year or next. Impact guys can be developed from good talent....Johnson could be that kinda guy but probably just a building block. No one saw Pace coming. Maybe he will suprise. Still think that with the Miami Tackle on the board we could have moved Bryant to end and used a rotation had we picked W. Joseph Dt. It would have given more line depth and filled needs. I think in hindsight with T. Jacobs still on the Board at 37 that the Cards are still wishing they had not made the trade unless they could have kept the 37 and not swapped. That is the most puzzling thing of the whole trade.

We have yet to develop anyone on the DL....Can you kick Greene in the arse and get him going...

I am really disappointed we traded out of #6 . I was not a big supporter of Suggs but would have preferred him over our two trade down guys. We are not going anywhere next year and we also had a chance for a good QB and the only one of any consequence next year is Eli Manning. I think you get more value where we were. I know nothing about these two guys just hope they can produce.

Wait till camp to make your evaluations. This team is not complete by any means. And if we woulds have changed are draft stratagies would we then be going to the Super Bowl. NO! We need to build the number of good players up. These two kids are not bad players. Picked early? PIcked on time? We will see. Let Graves do the rest and then make your opinion heard on the whole picture. ( noit that any one here si not entitled to thier opinion now).

Of seen some name calling for being on one side or the other.. Know one person on this board is smarter than the next...They only have different opinions. If you were that smart you would be an NFL head coach or GM and be making the choice yourself.

i guess i have a chance....

... to continue to build my character by being a Cardinals fan.
It would be easy to be a fan of a good franchise.

that was an awewsome comment andikrist, yes it does 'build character being a Cardinals fan'.

like you just said it would be so easy to cheer for a prominent franchise, but true fans like Card's fans, like ourselves are the essence of fandom.

Yeah, but how much say does Coach Mac have in the process? One has to wonder. I think if Mac was in control he would have taken SUGGS.

This smells of gravy... I mean Graves.

You know it is easy to bash this organization

but hey, they give us to many reasons to bash them. Let's face it, they dropped the ball today and those of you who continue to live in the clouds and remind us that we should wait until the end of training camp have fallen under the Graves trance that he is pushing. Well not me, I like the pick up of Blake but he has failed miserably in all other areas. Losing DB cost us Terrell Suggs today. We should not have had to go out and draft a stinking WR. This team continues to think that they can improve their pass rush with 2nd and 3rd talent-well it isn't going to happen. Simo Rice Eric Swann Andre Wadsworth were all 1st rounders. Not that we loved their attitudes but facts are facts. Rice is a sack machine and now has a ring. Wadsworth was injured and never recovered and Swanny well let me tell you - this team will never and I mean never see such a dominant player play DT. Swann was a shining star on a crappy and I mean crappy bunch of teams.

Bottom line - I don't like KVB, Dennis Johnson, Fred Wakefield, Marcus Bell, Russell Davis and Barron Tanner. This is a group of role playing misfits and we will never make the playoffs until this group is playing in proper perspective(as role players not starters!)
