What team other than the Spurs (in the West) scares you?

Rockets beat the Mavs in game 1. Poof! there goes the home court.

Like I said, I do believe the Rockets will win this series, and I do not like the idea of playing them in the second round.

I will eat some crow, but it wasn't Yao Ming that was the factor in the win. So at least I have a "half" victory... ;)

Seriously, though, the Mavs looked out of it. I can't believe that Dirk will play like that throughout the whole series.

The team that scares me the most is Sacramento. If they make it to the second round they will be completely healthy for the first time since they traded Webber. Miller is an underrated center and the combination the Kings can throw at our front court doesn't make me feel comfortable. Bobby Jackson gives them explosion off the bench ... not what I like to think about if Nash is sitting for an extended amount of time.

Um. I am not trying to be rude but--you've got to be kidding. Of all the teams in the west I would love to play, Sacramento is #1.

I guess time will tell.

Agreed here. Sacramento has some big guys, no question, but they aren't good enough to really determine whether they would win or lose against the Phoenix Suns.

The Kings are never healthy this time of year. Peja is nursing a groin pull, Brad Miller is in a leg brace and may try to contribute in the playoffs, and Bobby Jackson played for the first time this year just the other day.

I would absolutely love to get the Kings for the WC Finals - which is the only place we can meet them this year. (Our half of the brackets is us, Mavs, Rockets and Grizz. The other half is SA, Seattle, Sac and Denver)

Toughest opponents IMHO:

1. San Antonio
2. Dallas--they're still weak defensively, but they know how to attack Nash better than anybody
3. Houston--the teams are so different in personnel and approach that the series could easily be decided by the officiating
4. Seattle--they didn't fall off, they got hurt. If they can get healthy, they're a tough out
5. Sacramento--I just can't believe they'll get healthy, and even if they do I like the Suns' chances with Amare
6. Denver--the Suns adjusted to them as the season went on, rather than the other way around. Camby is the only Nugget that scares me
7. Memphis--I like their team, but they haven't been playing well at all. They're the one team in the West that might lose the first two games and roll over
