The Seattle Seahawks are attempting to defend their Super Bowl 60 title in 2026. Having enough roster depth to overcome injuries and adversity is imperative to navigating the unforeseen challenges an NFL season can welcome. After an offseason of significant change, we're analyzing which Seahawks positions may lack the necessary depth.

Cornerback

Is Nehemiah Pritchett ready to be the third cornerback behind boundary starters Josh Jobe and Devon Witherspoon? After hardly playing as a rookie or sophomore, the Seahawks are asking Pritchett to step into a bigger role to fill Riq Woolen's shoes. The Seahawks also have multiple rookies at cornerback, so hopefully someone emerges as key depth.

Center

Jalen Sundell won an offseason battle last year to be the starting center. Hopefully the former undrafted free agent continues improving as a second-year starter in 2026. There have been some minor trade rumors surrounding backup Olu Oluwatimi, who is entering the final year of his rookie contract.

Off-ball linebacker

Drake Thomas was a surprising performer for the Seahawks in 2025, essentially replacing Tyrice Knight as a starter. We know Ernest Jones IV will be his reliable self, but will the Seahawks get enough contribution from Thomas and/or Knight this coming campaign? The position opposite Jones is a bigger unknown than most fans realize.
