The Minnesota Vikings have made just two picks through the first three rounds of the 2025 NFL Draft. They entered the NFL Draft with just four picks after trading up twice in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, a decision they do not regret, considering they got quarterback J.J. McCarthy and edge rusher Dallas Turner.
Speaking of trades, the Vikings and Kwesi Adofo-Mensah made a trade back at the end of round three on Friday.
The Vikings traded back from 97 to 102 with the Houston Texans, while also sending them pick 187 in exchange for pick 142. That leaves the Vikings to have picks 139 and 142 in the fifth round on Saturday. The Vikings could, of course, trade back again and earn some extra picks, but if they don't, they will be able to track which undrafted free agents they want to target when the draft ends, as they sit out for the final two rounds.
Day three of the NFL Draft starts at noon EST on Saturday.
