The New York Jets have their plan at starting quarterback with Geno Smith.

Behind him, the jury is out.

The Jets currently have Bailey Zappe and fourth-round rookie Cade Klubnik on the depth chart behind Smith.

As of now, head coach Aaron Glenn and reports make it sound like there will not be any other veteran addition coming any time soon. Zappe and Klubnik will battle it out behind Smith, according to Glenn.

The coach called it an "open competition" between the two, but Zappe is the leading candidate.
