Specifically I am trying to find out where the Pats will be staying but I wouldn't be surprised if most all teams coming into town stay at the same two or three hotels. Anyone know?

Many teams stay at the Ritz Carlton on Camelback Road.

If you plan on making some sort of racket on Saturday night to keep them awake all night, we'll find out and tell you.

If you're looking to get your Brady jersey autographed, we have no idea.

Confession

Yes I am a Pats fan. Just like you diehard fans, I wanna come out and see my team play and since I'm flying in anyway, being able to stay at the same hotel as the team would make the weekend even better.

You can get this info from the team's media guide, which you can buy directly from the Pats for about $5-$7. Call the team offices, ask for Media Relations and then ask them how much a media guide costs.

Did you try calling the best high class hotels in Phoenix to see if thats where the Pats got their reservations?

Thanks CC

I actually am already aware of that club and have even purchased our game tix through them but unfortunately they don't know yet either.

As painful as it was for you to do that I do appreciate your willingness to share. But at the same time, its not like Pats - Cards are big rivals or anything; now if I was a Raider fan or something I'd expect you to spit in my face and talk about my mamma and all that, but the Pats shouldn't be hated, (despite my bias) any NFL has to at least respect the organization and their lack of me-first players, trash-talkers and a front office that doesn't overpay players based on hype and agent manipulation.

Best of luck to your Cards except for in week 2. I'm sure you won't miss us in sections 34 & 35.

A couple tips--

For the game -- Bring sunscreen and use it. hydrate often. There are few things more unattractive than pasty rust belters or northeastern types redder than a boiled lobster and halucinating in the later stages of heat stroke. We see it every year.

If you eat out, please note that green chile is not necessarily milder than red chile, and often is much hotter. I would recommend Los Dos Molinos in Tempe. Go mild, trust me.

At the game, dont play the "Pats won the Superbowl" taunt on the locals, as relevant as it may be -- it will be countered witha D-Back World Series win, (over the Yankees no less, and in the modern era)--- and we all know that Boston fans would trade 10 Patriot Superbowls for 1 Redsox World Series.

Enjoy.

Dillon is ok. Harrison gave him a good hit in practice after Dillon ran hard into him on a previous play :) Dillon says he's willing to do what the team does and that he doesn't expect to get as many carries as he did with the Bengals in his prime. Some people are worried about his work ethic though. Some have commented that he's not giving it his all in training camp. That's about all I know. Yes... my brother is a Patsie so I know all this stuff. I like the Patriots too, but not as much as the Cardinals of course ;)

I'm actually not your typical Pats fan. I'm from Hawaii but now living in Orange County, CA so sun and heat is nothing new for me but thanks for the tips. I like the Red Sox in the east but mostly because they're the Yankees rival; wasn't into baseball until I landed here so the Angels are my team. I'm a Pats fan due to a family connection to a former player but never lived there.

Dillon may not be an all-star this year (or ever going forward) since we're so much more about the passing game on offense but the balance he's going to give us will be HUGE. We've gotten to the top twice without a stud back so everyone's pretty excited about his arrival - at least we hope that what he's saying about fitting into the way the Pats run things proves to be true. Of course anything can happen so what the Pats have most of that is often overlooked is depth. So many injuries last year yet inexperienced young guys stepped up over and over. While Denver has an offense made for RBs, we have an offense made for capitalizing on a killer D.

Regarding the unmentionable - understood.

How about hotels within walking distance of stadium?

Looks like locating the hotel that the Pats will be staying at is not likely to happen, so is there a hotel that I can walk to the stadium from?

Geez, I told you were you could find the information, and now you're giving up already? Weak. Get a media guide and the name and phone # of the team hotel will be in there.

Its not in the media guide

I already inquired with people that do have the media guide (on a Pats msg board) and they don't list hotels for security reasons. If the Cards list their out of town hotels then it must just be a team policy. Believe me, I am not the only one who has been trying to find out where they are staying and no one has come up with anything excep guesses (based on the last time they were in AZ and where other teams have stayed).
