Coaching is so crucial in the NFL.

Most of these guys haven’t been taught proper techniques and also film study.

He hasn’t gotten better and most of the players haven’t under JG.

I’m not moving on from anyone with these clowns in charge.

He was getting essentially his and MHJ's target share when MHJ was out. It'd be nice if we could if we have a good balance in target shares for MHJ, Wilson, and McBride though.

You throw to who’s open if you get a QB that uses progressions and an Oline that can give him time to do that.

CORRECT! THIS STAFF IS NOT CAPABLE OF DOING THAT. We’ve watched it for 3 years. And it’s not just the last 3 or 4 games. THREE YEARS.

Tack on the incompetence of the OC plus whatever happened to the OL (losing OL coach to Dallas?) and you can see that Marv just never had a chance.

I think he can be a solid receiver if there was also a competent offensive coordinator, there is a solid running game, and we figure out how to make the OL better.

The weird part is that he never had this issue in college, except 1 bad game. Statistically speaking he officially had 155 catches and 4 drops for his entire college career.

I think the same misplay has probably cost him and the team like 5-6 more TD’s over the last two years. Plus countless other times during games.

I know he’s injured but this jumping at every pass thing is something they they teach you not to do in high school.

Yup. It’s just bizarre that this guy fundamentally doesn’t know how to play the position. Jumps for no reason, body catches, runs lazy routes… routinely fails to do the bare minimum for any WR, much less the 4th pick of the draft.

I think it’s actually worse. In Kyler’s first three seasons, especially season 2 and 3 he had entire half seasons of play where he was actually flat out awesome. He showed a TON of potential before inevitably cratering every second half of every season.

Marv hasn’t even had a 100 yard GAME this season.

MHJ much much worse. Kyler actually has had 8-10 game stretches where like you said he was playing at an MVP level. Kyler won ORoY once upon a time after all.

We played football in the street in the late 60's when cars actually waited for us to finish the play. The asphalt taught us not to jump...it only took one fall...lesson learned!!

Recently, he isn’t even on the field in obvious run downs. Guys like Larry and Anquan (and now Micheal Wilson) would look to find a defender and at least get in the way.
