One of the biggest events in UFC history takes place on June 14 when the promotion heads to the White House for UFC Freedom 250.
Ilia Topuria defends the UFC lightweight title against Justin Gaethje in the main event.
Topuria (17-0) won and vacated the UFC featherweight title after beating the likes of Alexander Volkanovski and Max Holloway. The Georgian and Spanish fighter took out Charles Oliveira to win the lightweight belt.
“El Matador” has been out of action after dealing with a personal issue. Now focused entirely on competing, the 29-year-old looks to make a statement on the White House lawn.
Gaethje (27-5) is the current interim lightweight champion. A former BMF Champion, he’s won multiple fight bonuses after competing in several battles over the years inside the octagon.
While it’s unknown how much he has left to give, the battle-tested Gaethje looks to finally hold gold while representing America.
The co-feature will see a massive heavyweight clash when Alex Pereira faces Ciryl Gane for the interim UFC heavyweight title. Pereira attempts to win a title in his third weight class. Gane (13-2, 1 NC) hasn’t lost a fight since 2023. The winner will face Tom Aspinall, who has been dealing with an eye issue after facing Gane.
The undercard is stacked, featuring entertaining stars like Sean O’Malley, Derrick Lewis, Michael Chandler, and more.
