UFC Freedom 250 Main Event: Topuria Vs. Gaethje

In the main event of the UFC White House card, Ilia Topuria (17-0) puts his undefeated record and UFC lightweight title on the line against interim 155-pound titleholder Justin Gaethje (27-5).

Topuria defended the UFC featherweight title twice before moving up to 155 pounds to face Charles Oliveira for the vacant UFC lightweight crown in June 2025. Topuria took home the belt that night with a first-round knockout of Oliveira. Topuria has knockouts in his past three wins, all UFC title fights.

Gaethje is a two-time interim champ. His first attempt to unify the belts came at UFC 254 in October 2020. Khabib Nurmagomedov submitted Gaethje in the second round of that contest. Gaethje earned his second interim belt in January of this year when he defeated Paddy Pimblett by decision at UFC 324.

UFC Freedom 250 Co-Main Event: Pereira Vs. Gane

In the co-main event, former UFC middleweight and light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira (13-3) looks to win the interim UFC heavyweight title in his first UFC fight in the weight division. Pereira’s opponent, Ciryl Gane (13-2-0-1) is a former heavyweight interim champ with the promotion. Gane has fought for the UFC heavyweight title three times, losing to Francis Ngannou, Jon Jones and, most recenlty, having his bout opposite Tom Aspinall stopped after an eye poke left Aspinall unable to continue.

We will have more on UFC Freedom 250 as fight night approaches.
