LAWRENCE — Kansas basketball’s alumni team in The Basketball Tournament has a chance at another win Wednesday against Kentucky’s La Familia in Lexington, Kentucky.
This represents the final of the alumni side of the TBT bracket. Whichever team wins advances to the championship game against the winner of the non-alumni side. So, the opportunity to continue to play for the $2 million prize that comes with winning this tournament remains possible for both JHX Hoops — KU’s team — and La Familia.
JHX Hoops just beat Wichita State’s AfterShocks in order to reach this point. La Familia defeated Syracuse’s Boeheim's Army. It’ll be a matchup that sets up two of the collegiate blue-bloods.
