Thanks azdad. I guess that field turf is an improvement on the old stuff. Too bad it's not possible to grow grass in domes lol. I will take grass over that synthetic stuff any day of the week. I hope that new Metrodome turf is forgiving tonite at any rate.

Whether we win or lose I'm curious to see what Green has to say.

Other than that, I want to see a humiliating, crushing, heart-wrenching defeat of that purple mess.

The most interesting IMO:

1) With Johnson and Boldin out, which receiver will step up?
2) Is Barry as dominating as reported from camp?
3) Is the interior O-Line as bad as reported?
4) Can the D get some pressure on the QB?
5) Will BIG struggle at LTand will Shelton shine on the 2nd team?

I want to see some continuity along the OL. Davis, Wells, Clement, Spikes and Step. They are all starters. It scares the hell out of me right now.

OL

What kind of strides have they made? Will the interior hold up against a different team's DL and LBs going against it? Can Stepanovich make the right calls since I actually expect the Vikes to try and exploit that early with some bull rushes up the middle and maybe even some blitz packages?

DL

Have they progressed as much as reported? Can we see some QB pressure?

CB

Can they cover as well against another opponent as they have been in camp?

RB
Scobey or Anderson? Anderson or Scobey?

QB

McCown is now the man, has he grown as a QB like he started showing at the end of last year?

I want to see some "decent" O-Line play. Something they can continue to build on throughout the rest of the preseason.

I'd like to see some sustained drives by the offense. Convert some third downs and score a TD when they get in the Red Zone.

Somebody from the WR corps step up in Q's absence.

Some pressure on the QB by our D-Line.

No long drives by Minnesota. Force them into some three and outs.

No injuries, obviously. Just a solid effort would be nice. Maybe some second, third or fourth stringers step up and make an impression.

I just want to see the D-line apply pressure. The last few year have been tough to watch. Opposing QB's just taking their time, tearing apart our secondary.

If we still continue to struggle in this area, I swear, I will run on the field at SDS and tackle someone's QB myself!!
