After wrapping up mandatory minicamp last week, Denver Broncos players now have a summer break.
Up next for the Broncos is training camp, which is set to begin in late July (the schedule is coming soon). Denver will once again have limited capacity at camp this summer, so (free) tickets will be required to attend. The team will soon announce details on how to secure tickets on a first-come, first-served basis.
After training camp kicks off, the Broncos will have three preseason games in August. Denver will go on the road to face the Atlanta Falcons on Aug. 14, then the team will host the Green Bay Packers (Aug. 21) and the Minnesota Vikings (Aug. 28). All three preseason games will be played on Friday evenings.
Following preseason, Denver will have until Sunday, Aug. 30, to finalize a 53-man roster. Once the active roster is set, the Broncos will build a 16- or 17-player practice squad (they are allowed to carry an extra international player).
