The former New York Giants head coach Brian Daboll has plenty of options this offseason, but where could he end up?
So far, Daboll has been a hot topic of conversation for offensive coordinator jobs, including the Philadelphia Eagles and the Tennessee Titans. Now that Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott has been fired, he is up for another head coaching job in Buffalo.
The Athletic's Dianna Russini has reported that Daboll is narrowing down his own list of interested parties.
"The Eagles are conducting their offensive coordinator search with the understanding that Brian Daboll wants the Bills’ head coaching job," Russini wrote on X on Wednesday morning. "If he doesn’t land it, Daboll is expected to wind up in Tennessee as the offensive coordinator for Cam Ward and the Titans, per sources."
As far as the Eagles' job, Daboll had previously worked with Jalen Hurts at Alabama, but the Eagles may be headed in another direction.
Sean McDermott was a defensive-minded coach, so it will be interesting to see if they bring in an offensive-minded coach to help Josh Allen overcome the hurdle of winning the big games and securing a Super Bowl title.
