Earlier this week, we asked fans what they’d consider an acceptable number of losses for the Michigan Wolverines in 2026. And now the results are in.

47% of fans voted that three losses are acceptable. Michigan has its work cut out for them this season, as they have a particularly hard schedule. Michigan’s coaching staff is much improved under new head coach Kyle Whittingham, but how much of a turnaround can 2026 be for Michigan? It’s a tall task for Whittingham and staff to clean up Sherrone Moore’s mess in a swift manner. Even so, expectations are high for Michigan with quarterback Bryce Underwood entering his second season as QB1.

Per FanDuel Sportsbook, Michigan currently has the fifth-highest odds of winning the Big Ten Championship at +1500.
