West Ham’s demands for Summerville make deal impossible for Roma


Roma’s transfer window is poised to heat up, and new sporting director Tony D’Amico is eager to bring in the reinforcements Gian Piero Gasperini so desires as soon as possible.


Above all, Mason Greenwood is the dream, with whom a salary agreement has reportedly already been reached.


In addition to the English talent, however, Roma is also pursuing other prospects, including Crysencio Summerville, the Dutch winger from West Ham.


The 2001-born player scored in the Netherlands’ World Cup opener against Japan, and according to Matteo Moretto on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, the Hammers player is not a viable option for Roma.


The Giallorossi are seeking a player who fits within the club’s financial parameters, and the winger is demanding too high a salary.


According to the transfer expert, Summerville is practically out of the running, and Roma are reportedly looking at other options. Furthermore, the competition appears to be very stiff.


Manchester United, above all, appears to be the team willing to put a hefty sum on the table to bring the West Ham talent to Old Trafford.
