GREENSBORO, N.C. (WNCT) — It’s N.C. East-West All-Star week in Greensboro, and the week opened with tonight’s doubleheader in Basketball. Washington’s Chaise Smith and Shimere Garris were on the East roster for the men.
East on the white and on the run, Smith to Northwood’s Chad Graes with the big slam.
East on the attack again, Currituck’s Jamie Dance with the basket and the foul.
Smith with another nice dish, this time to Wilmington Hoggard’s Will Seward for the easy dunk. Seward scored 22 points in the game.
Washington’s Chaise Smith, directing traffic, pulls up for the jumper and hits; East led 63-44 at the half.
But the West’s Dionte Neal, from Reidsville, hit a three-point shot at the buzzer to win it.
