would be awesome if he develops throughout the season to a guy they can start the second half of the year. He could be huge in guarding the other teams best point guard and bring the ball up in a lot of poessions.

What? You have Book and Beal and you think this guy could start by the end of the year?

Nether Book or Beal are 3's. So either you would be running a three guard offense or Beal is coming off the bench. Neither will happen.

I like this guy, but the chances of him moving ahead of Payne in the rotation is very small. He will be useful in a case of injuries or special situation defense.

As it stands, there are plenty of minutes to go around. Even if he is behind Payne in the rotation, which I think he will be, there are still a lot of guard minutes available.

As of right now he seems to likely be the backup SG anyway. Not that there will be a ton of guard minutes to go around anyways.

This is the type of player who can really excel on a better team, like Phoenix. There won't be any focus on him when he's on the court, so he can just get lost in the offense and the defense and do his thing...sneaky sneaky.

A lot of teams start 3 guards now. Book can handle a lot of SF's physically. It won't work against Denver but it will against probably half the league.

Stop replying to this thread so it moves its way up. Every time I come on to check on the forum to see who we sign I always see the big WELCOME and get excited.. only to see it wasn’t someone we signed in free agency..

Gerald Bourguet talks about what Jordan Goodwin brings to the team.

Although Goodwin can hit the corner three, I will gladly accept his defense, penetration and play making skills. The Suns need another player that can get after it defensively.
