We’re 1 month into the season… A dude having a great initial 30 days into the season should not suggest he doping. Now, if he’s still going nuts come the end of June (which I highly doubt will be the case), then your post might have some merit.

I feel bad for even typing this out, but the fall off of #Dbacks INF Ildemaro Vargas at the plate has been alarming.

Since May 20--
5 for 45 (.111), 2 R, 6 TB, 1 XBH, 6 RBI, 3 BB, 5 K

Season AVG has dipped from .340 to .290 in that time frame (OBP from .351 to .318).
