The night before, as a second-year right tackle for the New York Giants, Pugh had perhaps the worst game of his career. He gave up six sacks -- four by the first play of the second quarter -- and the Giants were blown out in Philadelphia 27-0 on Sunday Night Football. It happened in front of family and friends who had made the 30-mile drive from Pugh's hometown of Holland, Pennsylvania

So true. All it takes is 5 minutes of googling to see that unless you have more money than sense, you shouldn't own a Range Rover or many other European cars.

so,

at one point I needed a 3rd row vehicle and I only found 3 on auto trader, two were land rovers and one was something else. I picked up a land rover for 8k and thought it was a huge steal. The vehicle was awesome but literally one tiny thing messes up and it goes into limp mode, is undrivable and needs repaired at a specialty shop. doing my own repairs was near impossible for a lot of it. After two separate 2k expenses to repair it, I sold it ASAP. Never again.

Wife loves her mercedes, but yes it can be expensive to repair, but she can afford it. I mean she has my pay check and hers...

I just had co-worker trade in his Mercedes for Corolla immediately after getting his 1st repair bill not covered under warranty lol

Leased a 2019 Alfa Romeo Stelvio Ti Sport a little over a year ago... have LOVED it from the day I drove it off the lot! Haven't had one problem. That said, I have always heard about the on-going issues with Range Rovers...

Leasing is a perfect way to go with European cars IMO.

Back in the day, I had a '49 GMC pickup. Turned every bolt on it at one time or another. Thing was like a Sherman tank. Also had an Austin Healy Sprite. Had to adjust the carburetor every day just to keep it running.
