Eh, he didn't even talk to the media in that article. SI made a story out of an optimistic post Carter made on his X page, plus an earlier answer Gannon gave in response to a question about Carter at a press conference a couple weeks ago.

Odunze and Chop Robinson might be good fits here...and getting a mid 2nd provides immediate help in a deep draft pool

The drop to 8 is a perfect landing spot. I don't think I would mind that draft at all considering.
