New Orleans is laghing at us right now... Let me get this straight... we GAVE picks to trade down! Are we nuts? - Answer is a resounding YES!......

I'm so unhappy right now... I defended Graves before, but this was a TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE 1st round! I think we dropped too far down, and then had to make reach picks... I would have traded down again.... OR taken Jeff Faine and EJ HEnderson if I were forced to pick... But Johnson, and Pace? we could have had these guys in 2nd and 3rd round...

I think when Mcdougle was taken, (who we probably targeted..), we went into panic mode... sure looks like it to me! I don't see any way to salvage this draft, and we aren't even into round 2!

I am PRAYING that Calvin Pace will turn out to be the Dan Marjely(spelling ?) pick of the Arizona Cardinals. I remember Suns fans booed when he was picked, but we saw how that turned out. I can only hope.

This is worse than the Stoufer pick.... It will impact us for several years, also, which is the really sad thing...

I was planning on watching the whole draft, but now, I really don't care. I might go do some yard work or something. This SUCKS!

Also, I felt really bad for coach Mac going on ESPN having to try to "explain" our thinking... He is too good a guy to be led to the slaughter... It is a shame!

We did get fleeced. The analysts project this to be a 13-15 player draft in terms of top tier.

So we move down from #6...to 17 and 18 with suggs and leftwich and trufant on the board....the first two have great shots at being allpro players for years.

Then we move down in round 2.
Then we lose our 4th round pick.

We moved out of top tier...we moved out of the potential first round territory, and lost our 4th round pick for johnson, pace and 54?

In this draft the two best places to be imo...was at the top of rd1 and then at rd2.

The worst places to be is in the middle of 1st round, and end of 2nd. (when considering how projected talent goes...projected)

We move out of the best to the worst, and give up a 4th round. We were fleeced.

And on the mcginnis thing. The cards messed up so bad, he didn't talk about the picks, he talked about emmitt...c'mon. You talk about who you added in the draft, not emmitt in this situation.

We weren't just sheep that were fleeced, we were taken advantage of by our beastiality practicing shepard.

And to think they were called saints.
