Baltimore Beatdown readers gave Jesse Minter and the new-look Ravens a substantial vote of confidence in this week’s SB Nations Reacts survey. A whopping 92% of respondents answered that the team would reach double-digit victories, including a group of 37% who believe Baltimore will win at least 12 games.

Between the coaching overhaul and major roster additions like All-Pro edge rusher Trey Hendrickson and first-round guard Olaivavega Ioane, the Ravens seem primed to bounce back from their disappointing 8-9 record in 2025.
There may still be some bumps for Minter and his new coaching staff, especially first-time offensive play-caller Declan Doyle. The 29-year-old’s presence and attention to detail stood out at spring practices, but it will be impossible to know if he is truly ready for the job until the season begins. The Ravens also have an uncertain outlook at center after Tyler Linderbaum’s departure in free agency, and Nnamdi Madubuike’s return to the defensive line remains up in the air.
Double-digit wins, especially with a relatively easy schedule, seems well within grasp for Minter’s first year in charge, especially if two-time MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson can avoid the injuries that plagued him last season. The Ravens’ offseason retool is centered around the concept that Jackson plus a top-10 defense – which Minter fielded in both of his years as the Chargers’ DC – is a winning formula that few teams can stop.
Fan expectations largely align with betting markets’ rosy outlook on the Ravens’ 2026 season. Their current regular seasons wins over/under is set at 11.5 (via FanDuel Sportsbook), and they are also favored to win more games than every other team except the Rams.
