New Predator..dude is a teenager maybe, with a human robot sidekick...awesome, more predator is always a good thing.
Mortal Kombat.... Karrl Urbhan as Johnny Cage....need I say more??
Project Hail Mary...our sun is dying and humanitys last hope is a high school science teacher being sent to a galaxy 11 light years away...featuring Ryan Gosling...I aint much of a Gosling fan,...but dude looks remarkably well cast in this one and it might just be his best role yet...defining maybe
The Rise of Red Sonja... yeah, the Hyborean age has returned...ripe with ghastly beasts, evil men, and armored sparkling bikinis of steel.... The chick they cast as Sonja, doesnt quite strike me right..seems a bit short, and kinda soft looking. But based on the trailers the movie is well written...so I am thinking she will grow on me as the movie progresses.
regardless of that...its sword & sorcery with a legit budget and a valid effort...thats always going to be a win in my book.
For you Netflix fans.... TROLL2... I know it doesnt seem to exciting as TROLL was just,...eh, okay.... but this one looks like the reception of the first one motivated the Netflix execs.and they gave it a legit budget... budget is so very important when doing fantasy, most scifi, or supernatural movies...and it looks like they opened the wallet for TROLL 2...cant wait.
yeah anyway, there were a couple others. But this is as far as my short term memory can take me on this... lots of outstanding looking cinematic events coming our way over the next 12 months. Be excited. Be very excited!!
