One of the leaders of the Los Angeles Rams defense returned from injured reserve in the team's wild-card match against the Carolina Panthers. Safety Quentin Lake missed the final seven games of the regular season with an elbow injury but came back just in time for the postseason.
He played in 100% of the Rams' defensive snaps when he returned and finished six combined tackles and two defended passes. But more than that, Lake's leadership was noticeable on the field as he rallied the defense and hyped up the rest of the team.
Lake was mic'd up for the wild-card game. Watch and relive the game through Lake's biggest moments and through his own words:
Lake will play a pivotal role for the Rams once more in the divisional round against the Chicago Bears. He and the defense will face one of the most electrifying young quarterbacks in Caleb Williams, who recently led his Bears squad in an impressive fourth-quarter comeback win — much like Matthew Stafford did in this contest.
