The Washington Commanders selected five players in the 2025 NFL draft. General manager Adam Peters is the person who calls each of these players to inform them they're heading to Washington, and they also get to speak with head coach Dan Quinn and owner Josh Harris.
Some of the best moments in sports occur when these players find out they're getting the chance to live their NFL dream. While there is more certainty for first-round prospects, it's still an emotional time. However, the excitement for those players selected on Day 3 of the NFL draft is a bit different.
The Commanders, like most NFL teams, record these interactions. Here are the calls Washington made to four of its five draft picks. The Commanders haven't posted their call to seventh-round pick Jacory Croskey-Merritt yet.
