Mark Chamberlain knocked out Pierce O’Leary in the 10th round of an excellent action fight in front of a hot crowd in Dublin, Ireland.

Chamberlain (18-1-1, 13 KO) was the B-side and underdog coming into this one, and also on hostile turf, but the English fighter seemed to feed off of the amped-up audience at 3Arena, and came out blazing, dropping O’Leary (19-1, 11 KO) in the second and third rounds, leaving O’Leary’s nose likely broken as it poured blood for the remainder of the fight.

But the Dublin native O’Leary didn’t throw in the towel, either. He made his own rally and didn’t just box well or hold Chamberlain off, he did damage, particularly to the body, and we saw Chamberlain dropped heavily on a body shot in the seventh round, before he came back and found the opening, landing a lovely shot in the 10th round to drop O’Leary again, with the referee stepping in to stop the fight.

It was really a hell of a fight, and if you missed it, find the replay as soon as you can.
