Austin Hays' Cincinnati Reds debut won't soon be forgotten.

Hays started the game against the Seattle Mariners at Great American Ball Park 3-for-4 at the plate. He drove in four runs − all in his first five innings playing for the big-league club. That included a go-ahead, three-run homer to center field in the fifth inning. The shot gave Cincinnati a 6-4 lead after they trailed at 2-0 and 4-2.
