Dark Side of the Cage returns for a seven-episode season on Tues., Sept. 1 at 9 p.m. ET on VICE TV.
Season 2 will feature UFC legends like Chael Sonnen, Tito Ortiz, Jason Miller, Mark Coleman, and Don Frye, who kicks things off on Episode 1. Other topics include the murder charge against Phil Baroni and the UFC 229 feud between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov, one of the “darkest” in the history of UFC.
“The greatest fights in MMA didn’t always happen inside the cage,” said Pete Gaffney, President of VICE TV. “This season tells the stories behind the rivalries, controversies and unforgettable moments that helped shape modern mixed martial arts – and changed the lives of everyone involved. It’s a look at the human stories behind one of the fastest-growing sports in the world.”
Season 1 aired in early 2025 and featured such topics as the death of PRIDE FC, the rise and fall of Kimbo Slice, and The Ultimate Fighter.
