It's decision day for four-star offensive lineman DaJohn Yarborough, the Washington Huskies' top uncommitted target at the position.
The 6-foot-5, 340-pound product of Basha High School in Arizona is set to announce his pledge on Saturday afternoon from a final four of California, Florida State, Mississippi State, and UW, and throughout the process, there has been very little clarity in the competition for the hulking prospect, who is ranked as the nation's No. 426 overall recruit and No. 25 interior offensive lineman by the 247Sports Composite.
As Jedd Fisch and offensive line coach Michael Switzer make their final push to land Yarborough's commitment, he would be an ideal fit along the interior, while he also possesses the size and athleticism to play tackle if needed.
"The 6-foot-5, 340-pound junior also has a relentless finishing mentality, constantly moving his feet and bringing his block to the ground with impressive power," Huskies Wire's Alex Katson wrote in an evaluation of his film. "Yarborough is not just a road grader, however, as his stand-up reps in pass protection also show a high schooler with advanced hand technique and powerful grip strength to control defenders."
"Yarborough's footwork is also well ahead of what you may expect for a 340-pound high schooler. Despite suffering a fractured ankle that ended his junior year prematurely, the big man slides smoothly in pass protection and balances his weight well, always finding himself on the winning end of collisions with defenders. With such prototypical size and technique, Yarborough profiles as a player who could find himself in the NFL rather quickly with the right coaching staff during his time in college."
If Yarborough does wind up with the Huskies, he would complete a strong offensive line class that also includes four-star center Reis Russell, four-star interior prospect Gecova Doyal, and three-star tackle Tye Kennedy.
However, if he chooses to go elsewhere, Switzer may be forced to pursue a flip as the recruiting cycle rolls on.

As my decision gets closer, I just want to take a moment to thank every school that believed in me throughout this journey. To every coach and program that invested their time in recruiting me, built relationships with me and my family, and gave me an opportunity to chase my…
