It's once again time to vote for the Washington County high school winter sports athletes of the week.
Nominees have been selected based on statistics provided by county coaches for events played from Jan. 28-31.There are 13 boys and nine girls in the running this week. Voting will remain open until Thursday at noon.
Note:Weekly winners during the 2025-26 winter sports regular season are ineligible for inclusion again until the playoffs.

Boys
- Daniel Apiou, Clear Spring indoor track and field -- Apiou won the 1A West 55 hurdles (7.88) and high jump (6-4).
- Ish Badaki, Boonsboro basketball -- Badaki had 15 points, 18 rebounds and six blocks in a win over Clear Spring.
- Avery Cosley, South Hagerstown basketball -- Cosley had 24 points and six rebounds in a loss to Thomas Johnson.
- Fernando Garcia, Broadfording basketball -- Garcia had 35 points, seven steals and three assists in a win over Bishop Walsh.
- Dylan Herbst, Smithsburg indoor track and field -- Herbst won the 1A West 1,600 (4:34.78) as the Leopards claimed the team title.
- Carter Jackson, Boonsboro basketball -- Jackson had 21 points, seven rebounds and five assists in a win over Clear Spring.
- Dylan Lowe, Smithsburg indoor track and field -- Lowe won the 1A West 800 (2:07.24).
- Blake Main, Boonsboro basketball -- Main had 23 points, 12 rebounds, seven steals and six assists in a win over Clear Spring.
- Walker Mason, North Hagerstown indoor track and field -- Mason won the 3A West 3,200 (9:36.96).
- Jay McConnaughey, Clear Spring indoor track and field -- McConnaughey won the 1A West 55 (6.63).
- Brooks Myers, Clear Spring indoor track and field -- Myers won the 1A West shot put (44-2).
- Noah Poe, Heritage basketball -- Poe had 21 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists in a win over Grace.
- Jayden Yates, Saint James basketball -- Yates had 32 points, seven rebounds and six steals in a win over Virginia Academy.
Girls
- Claire Bono, Smithsburg basketball -- Bono had 21 points, eight rebounds, six steals and three assists in a win over Catoctin.
- Hadley Elwood, Clear Spring indoor track and field -- Elwood won the 1A West high jump (5 feet).
- Aniyah Freeman, South Hagerstown basketball -- Freeman had 16 points, seven rebounds and six steals in a loss to Thomas Johnson.
- Kaylee Hensley, Clear Spring basketball -- Hensley scored 12 points, including the go-ahead free throw with 5 seconds left, in a win over Boonsboro.
- Erica Long, Grace basketball -- Long had 24 points, 15 rebounds and four steals in a win over Heritage.
- Skyla Mastronardi, Smithsburg basketball -- Mastronardi had 21 points, eight rebounds, six steals and five assists in a win over Catoctin.
- Katelyn Moffitt, Clear Spring indoor track and field -- Moffitt won the 1A West shot put (36-1).
- Brielle Morales, Clear Spring indoor track and field -- Morales won the 1A West 55 hurdles (9.08).
- Taraji Nartey, North Hagerstown indoor track and field -- Nartey won the 3A West 300 (41.81).
