Another NBA free agent domino has fallen.

Draymond Green has agreed to return to the Golden State Warriors on a one-year, $27.7 million deal, Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul told ESPN’s Shams Charania on Tuesday.

The contract is the same Green opted out of to give the Warriors flexibility to pursue LeBron James, according to Charania, but the sides land his return Tuesday.

James officially signed with the Philadelphia 76ers this week, ending his free agency suspense.

Green has been the Warriors’ frontcourt anchor during their dynasty, contributing to four of their championship teams. He’s made four All-Star teams, two All-NBA teams, nine all-NBA defensive teams, and a defensive player of the year award.

Now 36, Green is four years removed from his last All-Star Game nod. He still played all 68 games for the Warriors in 2025-26, averaging 27.5 minutes per game.
