Following the blockbuster trades that sent Giannis Antetokounmpo to the Miami Heat, Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers and LaMelo Ball to the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Warriors may lack the talent necessary to convince LeBron James to sign this summer.

According to NBA insider Shams Charania, Golden State believes they aren't among the top suitors for James unless they can acquire Anthony Davis. Unfortunately for the Warriors, Washington isn't listening to offers on the former Kentucky product after sending a lucrative trade package to the Dallas Mavericks to acquire him last season.

Considering that the Warriors finished with a 37-45 record last season, there's reason for James to doubt their status as contenders, considering Golden State has made minimal moves this summer. As of now, Yaxel Lendeborg is the most notable addition, excluding players that re-signed from last year's roster (Kristaps Porzingis, De'Anthony Melton and Al Horford).
